Conservation work takes place on the second Sunday of every month (but third Sunday in November). The meeting point is at the Croxley Common Moor entrance at the very end of Mill Lane, Croxley Green (after crossing both canal and river): postcode WD3 3EW, Ordnance Survey grid reference TQ 081951. Tools and gloves (and hats and goggles for scrub clearance) are provided. Suitable footwear (and long trousers and shirt sleeves for scrub clearance) are advisable.

As ragwort is poisonous to livestock and tends to dominate the vegetation, it's important to keep it under control.
